Personal information provided (name, email, address and phone) is stored by the National Asset Register ("NAR") and its parent company, DG Home Protection Inc. for the purpose of system registration, asset registration and maintenance, and direct contact purposes only.

A customer's personal or asset information or details of any arrangement with the NAR DotGuard will not be disclosed to any other person or organization without the express consent of the customer or unless required by law. All information will be held in the strictest of confidence.

NAR and DG Home Protection are committed to maintaining the accuracy of the information on all of our customers. A customer may facilitate access to their registered personal information either over the phone or by paper statements. If you believe any of your information is incorrect or has changed please notify us immediately via phone or email to update your customer information. However, in order to protect your information we may ask you to verify your identity. Note, in the event that you suspect that someone has illegally or fraudulently gained access to your personal details please contact the NAR or Dotguard immediately so that an identity alert may be placed on your file for your protection.

Throughout the year the NAR may send emails to opting customers offering them special offers on products and services. No more that four marketing pieces will be sent per annum by either email or direct mail to any party registered with DotGuard. This list will not be made available to any third party and will remain in strictest of confidence. Customers may opt out of receiving any future emails using opt-out email functionality provided with any email sent.

Customers will be immediately notified via mail or email with any material changes to the privacy policy. At the time of notification, customers may choose to remove personal information due to the privacy policy changes.
